Seniors Texas Scramble- The Northumberland GC – 6 October 2025
Today was our last event of 2025, played in warm conditions with a stiff breeze in the morning, which died down in the afternoon. The course is in excellent condition, the greens especially and all the competitors were very complimentary. We had 23 teams and some really good scoring. Seniors Champion of Champions – Woodhall Spa GC – 13&14 September 2025
A huge congratulations to Sandy Twynholm who has become the England Golf Seniors Champion of Champions at Woodhall Spa Golf where he came out on top by 2 strokes. This is a fantastic achievement by Sandy, who continues to play excellent golf, picking up more significant titles along the way. Well done Sandy, we are extremely proud of your achievements. Seniors Big 6 – Wilmslow Golf Club – 9 September 2025
The NC Seniors’ Qualifying ( Big 6 ) was played at Wilmslow GC. The course was in superb condition with fast running greens. With the weather being very kind all day even though breezy at times. Northumberland v Cumbria – The Northumberand Golf Club – 6 September 2025
A topsy turvey encounter at The Northumberland Golf Club against our good friends from CUGC ended up in a 9-9 draw. Cumbria dominated the morning Foursomes, with a late Northumberland rally by James Cram and James Conn leaving the score 2.5 to 3.5 in favour of Cumbria. Yorshire v Northumberland- Bradford GC – 17 August 2025
It was definitely a case of close, but no cigar in our match against Yorkshire Union, at The Bradford Golf Club. A spirited morning effort saw the match tied at lunchtime, with Junior County graduates Junior Dobson and Andrew Griffiths, winning the last 4 holes to snatch a deserved 1 up victory. County Salver& Forster Cup – 26 July 2025 -Prudhoe Golf Club
A great day at an immaculately turned out Prudhoe Golf Club where they hosted the County Salver & Forster Cup. The players were treated to some excellent greens, rolling a really nice pace.
