North & South Trophy

Close House Golf Club hosted the North & South Trophy on Saturday 4 May.

The course was in immaculate condition, despite a deluge of rain the night before the Event.

A huge thanks to Close House, they looked after us very well, it was good to be back there.

In the competition it was local favourite, Close House Member, Andrew Griffiths who came out on top with excellent rounds of 71 & 65 for a  4 under par total, edging out veteran Andrew Minnikin by a single stroke.

Congratulations to Andrew on winning his first Men’s County Trophy.

The best nett went to Charlie Thomson of Morpeth with rounds of 72 & 66, well done Charlie.
