A topsy turvey encounter at The Northumberland Golf Club against our good friends from CUGC ended up in a 9-9 draw.
Cumbria dominated the morning Foursomes, with a late Northumberland rally by James Cram and James Conn leaving the score 2.5 to 3.5 in favour of Cumbria.
A dominant start by Northumberland in the singles, was soon eradicated by the fighting visitors, with the match becoming very tight.
For the second session running it was James Cram who produced at the end, with an excellent birdie birdie finish.
Thanks to the Club who looked after us so well in the Clubhouse and presented the course in immaculate condition.
