A disappointing 8-10 reverse here at Newcastle United Golf Club on a damp day at the Moor.

A huge thanks to the Club who hosted their first ever county match- the level of support from Brian and Liam from the club side was superb. A huge thanks to Mandy and the catering staff who provided excellent food, nothing was too much trouble. We must also thank Wayne and his greens team for the excellent presentation of the course, despite the awful weather this week- we are hugely grateful.

We are indebted to the members, Steve Forbes to name one who was out in the pouring rain with a squeege- thanks to you all.

Finally a huge thanks to John Simmons and the volunteers who have worked so hard to present the course in the best possible condition, you did your club proud.
