The NUGC, as the men’s amateur golf governing body in Northumberland, focuses on administering county championships, team competitions, and coaching programs. Affiliated with England Golf, the NUGC manages course measurements and slope ratings for its member clubs and serves as the local authority on the R&A Rules of Golf and Handicapping.

The Northumberland County Seniors team travelled to Otley GC in Yorkshire yesterday for a very tough Northern Counties Seniors league fixture. Seniors Match Play – Mike Fleming Salver
Today, the semifinals and final of the Northumberland County Seniors Matchplay championship were played at Longhirst golf club. Thanks to the County President Paul Brennan for refereeing the match. Much appreciated. The course was extremely well presented thanks to Graham and his staff. As usual they made us very welcome.
