English U18 Amateur Championship
Harrison Sewell of the Northumberland Golf Club came agonisingly close to winning the England Golf, English U18 Amateur Championship at Hesketh Golf Club. On Saturday 22 June, we had a great weather day at Newbiggin for the 1st and 2nd Division Teams Championships. Firstly a big thanks to Newbiggin and their members for giving up the course today. Cheshire v Northumberland Seniors
Northumberland Seniors travelled to Astbury GC in Cheshire for the first of 3 consecutive away matches on the road. Considering Astbury GC had been closed 2 days previously due to flooding of the fairways and greens the course was in excellent condition. There were wet patches in places but the greens played well.
