The third of 5 NUGC Senior Opens for 2024 was held today at WBGC.

We would like to thank WBGC and all their staff for hosting this event and for presenting the course is such magnificent condition. Many of the competitors being very complementary about the organisation of the event and the excellent condition of the course. Many of the competitors were hoping to return next year.

The Senior Open itself proved to be a huge success.

28 teams teams of 4 took part in the event.

The prize winners were :-

1st – Brotherwood / Owen / Todd / Clark – 87 points

2nd – Carr / Grieve / Elliott / Laidlaw – 86 points

3rd – Brown / McBride / Robson / Rivett – 85 points – on count back from 2 other teams on 85 points

Vouchers have been issued to the successful teams.

We once again thank everyone involved at WBGC today and we confirm that we very much look forward to returning there on 14th August 2025 ( date for all your diaries ) to hold this NUGC County Seniors Open fixture once again. Event details to follow in due course. Bookings for this event and indeed all 2025 NUGC Senior Opens will be available in early 2025 with entries via the NUGC website as usual.
